Finest Breakfast Tea

 

An American household tin from c 1890 with an interesting lid. It can be lifted for practical portioning of the tea. This type of tea caddy is named “perfection tea can”. On the back side, detailed instructions, “prescription” for making tea is given.

 

This tin was used by several distributors with identical design; only the name of the importer on the front side was adjusted.
