Tea Merchant’s Storage Tin

 

Size:  20.5 x 20.5 x 29 cm. 

Tin dates from c 1910, Germany.

 

Another so-called “Künstlerdose” designed by Ivo Puhonny (1876-1940). The sides of the tin are decorated with motifs from India: Apsaras (temple dancers) and the elephant-headed Hindu god Ganesha.
